The AGD Advocacy Fund supports national and constituency advocacy efforts by providing resources to tackle new matters, such as legislation or legal action affecting the practice of general dentistry. Do you know a talented new dentist who’s doing extraordinary things and deserves some recognition? AGD Impact’s popular cover story, “10 Dentists to Watch,” which spotlights dentists who have been practicing for 10 years or less, will return in 2024. Nominations are open to all AGD members!

To get recognized as a Fellow, Master or Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition recipient at AGD2024 in Minneapolis, July 17–20, all requirements must be completed and applications submitted on or before Dec. 31, 2023.

Referring colleagues can earn both you and your recruited colleagues $50 in Referral Rewards when they join AGD. The best part? There’s no cap on your earning potential. With enough recruits, you could cover your AGD dues using your rewards at renewal time.

An evaluation of AGD governance framework and procedures is underway. This assessment aims to ensure that the organization aligns with best practices and a structure that will enable it to support its mission and engage its leaders and members effectively.

The AGD special hotel rate for the 2023 Fall Fellowship Review Course & Exam ends this Thursday, Sept. 14. Don’t miss this important step in becoming recognized as an AGD Fellow. The two-day Review Course will be followed by the Fellowship Exam Oct. 8.
