The N95 mask shortage has resulted in a gray market for counterfeit masks. U.S. Customs and Border Protection has identified and seized some shipments, but others are slipping through. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has provided information on how to identify counterfeit masks.

The May/June issue of AGD’s peer-reviewed journal, General Dentistry, includes information about teledentistry, including remote observation of patients with special needs. Are you taking part in micro-learning events such as 15- or 20-minute education updates? Courses of any length can be applied toward the Fellowship or Mastership award requirements as long as the events are offered through AGD PACE- or ADA CERP-approved providers. Check who meets these standards.
