The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) published the results of a December 2018 roundtable titled Integrating Oral and General Health through Health Literacy Practices.

In July, the Virginia AGD was delighted to welcome Jose-Luis Ruiz, DDS, FAGD, to Virginia Beach for a 1 1/2-day participation course, “Healthier, Faster and More Predictable Direct Rehabilitation Using Supragingival Techniques.”

Effective Sept. 1, 2019, AGD will no longer accept any CE verification forms or rosters through mail, fax or email. All CE MUST be submitted electronically.

The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) selected Dental Recycling North American (DRNA) as an Exclusive Benefits provider for amalgam separators and amalgam recycling for members of AGD.

The AGD Governance Evaluation and Review Committee met in Chicago on June 21 to begin the arduous process of reviewing AGD’s governing structures.

The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), along with the Organized Dentistry Coalition (ODC), today announced that it recommends the full repeal of the medical devise excise tax and urges the Senate Finance Committee to move promptly to consider legislation that includes repeal.
