Check Eligibility
The
AGD PACE Program approves organizations that offer planned continuing
dental education activities. The AGD PACE Program does not approve
specific content, curricula, instructors, or speakers.
- To
qualify, your organization must maintain a permanent base in the U.S.
or Canada. Organizations located outside the U.S. and Canada should
reference the Eligibility Requirements for International Continuing
Dental Education Providers.
- Organizations
that offer only in-person programs within a single state or province to
local dental professionals may be eligible for local PACE approval. All
other organizations must apply for national PACE approval. Review the
PACE Eligibility Requirements tab for more details.
Review PACE Standards
Approved organizations must demonstrate that they meet the 13 AGD Standards for high-quality continuing education.
- Each standard includes specific criteria and recommendations to help you succeed.
- Every application question relates directly to these published standards.
- To eliminate guesswork, each question includes a citation pointing you to the exact Standard and Criteria it addresses.
Prepare: Organize Documents Needed for the Application
Review our application outline to see the information and documentation you will need.
- Before starting, create a physical or digital folder containing your answers and supporting documents.
- If
you are applying for local approval, review the application first and
note every question that requires an attachment. Gathering these files
beforehand ensures a smooth application process.
- If you are unsure what to include, review the Sample Documents.
We have arranged these by PACE Standard for your convenience. These
samples provide basic examples of the forms and documents approved
providers should be using. The AGD PACE Program does not require
specific formats, use the examples provided to help design what works
best for you.
- The
AGD and AGD PACE Logos are trademarked. Approved organizations DO NOT
have permission to use the AGD Logo (The AGD logo does not include the word PACE). Approved organizations have
permission to use the AGD PACE Logo and approval statement on marketing
materials and attendance verification forms; Approved organizations DO
NOT have permission to use the AGD or AGD PACE Logo on internal
documents, like course evaluation forms or speaker contracts.
- Important:
Only include documentation from events where your organization planned
and administered the program. Do not include documents from events where
a member of your organization spoke but had no role in planning or
administration.
Complete the Application According to Your Schedule.
Advanced preparation helps you finish the application faster, but you do not need to complete it in one sitting.
- Take your time to ensure each section is complete before moving forward.
- The
application is organized by standard; Consider reviewing one standard
at a time and then answer its associated questions before moving to the
next.
