AGD’s 2020 Constituent Awards
Working at the local level, AGD constituents do tremendous work to advance AGD’s mission and vision. Their outstanding efforts were also recognized during AGD’s annual meeting, held virtually this year, Oct. 23–25.
This year, the CE Award was renamed the Richard D. Knowlton CE Award of Excellence. Knowlton, who passed away earlier this year, was an AGD member, leader and Dental Education Council chair. The award signifies the passion and commitment Knowlton made to AGD’s dental education offerings. This year’s Richard D. Knowlton CE Award of Excellence was presented to Navy AGD in the Federal Services Category, Nebraska AGD for Category 3, Tennessee AGD for Category 2 and Texas AGD for Category 1.
Constituent of the Year Awards were presented to:
- Navy AGD in the Federal Services Category.
- Nebraska AGD in Category 3.
- Tennessee AGD in Category 2.
- California AGD in Category 1.
Other award winners include:
- Alberta AGD was awarded the Membership Award in the Category 3 Division.
- Army AGD was awarded the ACE Award in the Federal Services Category.
- California AGD was awarded the Advocacy Award.
- Iowa AGD was awarded the Membership Award for Category 2.
- Michigan AGD was awarded the Membership Award for Category 1.
- Navy AGD was awarded ACE, Richard Knowlton Continuing Education and Membership awards for Federal Services Division.
- Nebraska AGD awarded the ACE, Richard Knowlton Continuing Education and Public Information awards for Category 3.
- Pennsylvania AGD was awarded the ACE Award for Category 1.
- Tennessee AGD was awarded the Richard Knowlton Continuing Education and Public Information awards for Category 2.
- Texas AGD was awarded the Richard Knowlton Continuing Education and Public Information awards for Category 1.
- Veterans Administration AGD was awarded the Membership Award for Federal Services.
- Wisconsin AGD was awarded the ACE Award for Category 2.
