AGD leaders and congressional legislators come together to address issues related to oral health and the dental profession

AGD is hosting the 2023 Fall Fellowship Review Course at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C., Oct. 6–7. The Fellowship Exam will take place the following day, Oct. 8, allowing you to use the information you learned while it is still fresh.

AGD is working to address the most pressing issues faced by our members as we advocate to government entities for general dentists.

In November 2022, Dr. Monica F. Anderson presented “What Dentistry Teaches Us About Curbing Racism” at TEDxOshkosh in Wisconsin. She explains that “racism is contagious, like tooth decay. Racism is a contagious social cancer, and it is deadly when left untreated.”

Interest is high in bioactive materials because of the role they play in regenerating tissue. AGD Impact Testing the Tools columnist Ross Isbell, DMD, MAGD, of Isbell Dental in Gadsden, Alabama, frequently reviews bioactive materials he tests in his own practice for a variety of applications.
