Working at the local level, AGD constituencies do tremendous work to advance AGD’s mission and vision. Their outstanding efforts were recognized during AGD’s annual meeting. 

This year’s winners are:

• Alberta AGD received the ACE Award for editorial excellence in Category 3.
• Army AGD received the ACE Award for editorial excellence in the Federal Services Category.
• Iowa AGD received the ACE Award for editorial excellence in Category 2
• Massachusetts AGD received the Advocacy Award for Category 1.
• Michigan AGD received the Membership Award for Category 1. 
• Navy AGD received the Richard D. Knowlton, DMD, MAGD, Award for Continuing Education and the Public Information Award in the Federal Services Division.
• Nebraska AGD received the ACE Award for editorial excellence, the Richard D. Knowlton, DMD, MAGD, Award for Continuing Education and the Public Information Award for Category 3.
• Oregon AGD received the Richard D. Knowlton, DMD, MAGD, Award for Continuing Education and the Public Information Award for Category 2. 
• Public Health AGD received the Membership Award for Federal Services Division.
• Tennessee AGD received the ACE and Membership awards for Category 2.
• Texas AGD received the ACE Award for editorial excellence, the Richard D. Knowlton, DMD, MAGD, Award for Continuing Education and the Public Information Award for Category 1.

The AGD Constituency of the Year Award was created to acknowledge constituencies that display strength in every area of their organization, including governance and administration, continuing dental education, membership, communications, public information, legislation, and dental care.

2023 Constituency of the Year Awards were presented to:

• Navy AGD for the Federal Services Category.
• Nebraska AGD for Category 3.
• Iowa AGD for Category 2.
• Texas AGD for Category 1.
