AGD Congratulates Asst. Health Secretary Levine on Senate Confirmation

On March 30, AGD sent a letter to Rachel L. Levine, M.D. congratulating her on being confirmed by the Senate to serve as the 17th Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.

The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) oversees the HHS’ key public health offices and programs, 10 regional health offices across the nation, and the Office of the Surgeon General and the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.

Dr. Levine is a pediatrician who previously served as Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health from 2017 to 2021.
