AGD Foundation Cancels Oral Cancer Screening Challenge
COVID-19 continues to have an impact on communities across the world. With that in mind and out of an abundance of caution, the AGD Foundation Board of Directors has decided to postpone the April 2020 AGD Foundation Oral Cancer Screening Challenge. Our priority is the health of our members, their patients and the general public, and we will take whatever steps may be necessary to ensure we are doing our part to keep the community healthy.
It is in the best interest of the AGD Foundation and all concerned to discourage large gatherings, including the events that would have been held in conjunction with the April 2020 AGD Foundation Oral Cancer Screening Challenge. Some participants have already cancelled or postponed their events. We are closely monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and local public health agencies, and we will let you know when the oral cancer screening challenge will occur in the future.
The health and safety of our members and their patients is and always will be our top priority. Our thoughts are with all those who have been affected by COVID-19.
