West Texas AGD Hosts a Big Crowd for Dr. Gordon Christensen
With 127 attendees, "The Christensen Bottom Line 2018," a course presented by Gordon Christensen, DDS, MSD, PHD, April in Odessa, Texas, provided attendees with 7 continuing education (CE) hours toward Fellowship or Mastership and showcased the acceleration of West Texas AGD as a component.
Christensen’s course focused on the areas of dentistry with the most change in the last year and covered the most requested topics for the West Texas area, including CAD/CAM, endodontics, equipment, laboratory technology, operative dentistry, preventive dentistry, fixed prosthodontics and technology.
“I feel that it was a great source of achievement to have a speaker of Dr. Christensen’s status kick off our year. It speaks well of our component,” said Russ Boyles, DDS, FAGD, West Texas AGD president. “The energy of the day could be summed up by comments I heard in the halls after the event: ‘It was a great day!’”
Christensen also mentioned the importance of being involved with the West Texas AGD, saying, “Where the education happens is through AGD.”
