Ira Levine, DDS, MAGD
Region 2
Ira Levine, DDS, MAGD, is the Regional Director of Region 2, which is comprised of New York. He has served in this position for two years. He has served as the New York AGD president as well in national leadership positions on various AGD task forces, as the AGD Public Relations Council chair and on the AGD PACE Council. Levine is a 1990 graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He is a 20-plus year member of the AGD and the ADA. Having difficulties getting established after graduating, his primary motivation is to help young dentists with their careers. Levine has a number of different items on his agenda as Regional Director, however, the most important are developing leadership in NYAGD, facilitating board and member engagement, and developing NYAGD student chapters. His advice to current and future leaders is to develop good time management skills. Aside from AGD and the ADA, Levine is heavily involved with his local Rotary Club, has two sons in college and still finds time to fish, hike, ski, travel, garden, read and hang with friends.
