Kurt Laemmer, DMD, MAGD, LLSR
Regional Director, Region 3 

Dr. Kurt J. Laemmer began his role as Regional Director of Region 3, Pennsylvania AGD, in 2016. As an RD, he hopes to continue supporting Pennsylvania’s PEAK program, which fosters excellent peer-to-peer interaction and the opportunity to engage in discussion about issues that face dentistry as a whole and/or issues that face the individual dentist. He also plans to keep his constituent moving in a positive direction.

Dr. Laemmer has been active within his constituent for more than 10 years. He has held several committee chair positions and was a past president of Pennsylvania AGD. He is also a strong supporter of Pennsylvania’s PEAK program supporting its members’ matriculation through the Fellowship and Mastership awards as well as Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition.

He became a member of the AGD while attending the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine (Class of 1990). Following graduation, he started his career in private practice in Bradford, PA.

If he could offer any advice, he would encourage everyone to step outside of their practices and get involved in organized dentistry. He believes everyone in dentistry must come together and strengthen their voice in order to continue providing the public with the best care possible.

In his spare time, Dr. Laemmer likes to vacation, travel, visit new restaurants, relax on the beach and read.
