AGD joins organized dentistry coalition in urging Congress to pass the REDI Act
The Academy of General Dentistry recently sent correspondence to U.S. Senators Jacky Rosen and John Boozman in appreciation of the introduction of the the, Resident Education Deferred Interest (REDI) Act (S 3658).
If the act is passed, it will allow borrowers to qualify for interest-free deferment on their student loans while serving in a medical or dental internship or residency program.
