Chicago Blackhawks team dentist Russel Baer, DDS, discussed the unique dental treatments often needed by hockey players due to sustaining so many injuries during their careers. Nearly 120 students enjoyed lunch from Subway, and the D-1 students received their Illinois AGD logo scrubs. Each attendee also earned one hour of continuing education (CE) towards their AGD Fellowship Award. First- through fourth-year dental students who are AGD members may earn up to a maximum of 50 hours of CE credit toward the AGD Fellowship Award after graduation.
