Alzheimer’s disease is a growing healthcare challenge, increasing the need for preventive, collaborative care across medicine and dentistry. Research links oral disease, inflammation, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and metabolic dysfunction with cognitive decline. Explore the science connecting oral-systemic and brain health, and learn practical strategies to identify high-risk patients and support healthy aging in clinical care and daily life.

Anne O. Rice, RDH, BS, FAAOSH, CDP, is a clinical dental hygienist, speaker, writer and consultant with more than 35 years of experience, specializing in oral-systemic health, preventive neurology and dementia prevention. She is a Bale/Doneen Method preceptor, Certified Dementia Practitioner, AAOSH fellow and faculty member at the Institute for Functional Dentistry. Her work has earned national recognition for advancing oral-systemic and cognitive health.
