Dental offices are considered a costly physical plant. When a dentist builds out their practice, they usually do not think that their landlord could have the power to prevent them from selling their practice, relocate them (at their cost) or terminate the lease at the landlord’s discretion. The success of a dental office is directly tied to having a good lease. In this course, dentists will be able to learn the seven guidelines for a good dental lease that are critical to establishing stability and creating the long-term value dentists seek for their practices.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn how to identify common hidden traps in dental office leases, which will save you thousands of dollars.
  • Learn how to correctly identify the key dates that every dentist needs to be aware of in their office lease.
  • Learn how a dental lease should be negotiated to maximize the practice’s value for a sale.
