Program Approval for Continuing Education (PACE)

The PACE program is an evaluation of the educational processes used in designing, planning, and implementing continuing dental education. It was created to assist dental professionals in identifying quality continuing dental education.

All applicants should review the information below before starting the application. The Application for Local PACE Approval verifies that approved organizations meet PACE's 13 Quality Standards published in the PACE guidelines.

  • New and renewing applicants must complete the same application for local PACE approval
  • Organizations that offer webinars or self-instruction programs are not eligible for local PACE approval.
  • Organizations located outside of the US or Canada are not eligible for local PACE approval.
  • The application is a writeable pdf form.  Download and save the application to your device before starting the application. You cannot save your work to the AGD website.

Where to Apply

Completed applications for local PACE approval are reviewed by the local AGD constituent in your state or province or their designee.  Click below to find your local approval representative. All logistical questions, including application fees and review timelines, should be directed to your local approval representative.
