Adenocarcinoma of Mammary Origin in the Maxillary Gingiva
Maxillofacial metastases are rare but signify advanced disease progression. A new case report in General Dentistry describes a patient with previously diagnosed invasive ductal breast carcinoma who developed a metastatic lesion in the maxillary gingiva. Routine follow-up of patients with cancer is essential for the identification of oral lesions and early interventions where possible.
