AGD Initiates Dialogue with the National Association of Dental Plans
The National Association of Dental Plans (NADP) responded to AGD’s letter sent on July 7, and welcomed open communications between the organizations. AGD’s letter to NADP – an effort spearheaded by the AGD Dental Practice Council – emphasized the benefits such collaboration between the two entities could have on oral health care especially in the wake of COVID-19. Additionally, both organizations highlighted the potential in holding conversations, with the commonality of being stakeholders in the dental industry.
AGD leaders are working closely with the NADP to continue dialogue and foster a long-term relationship, as well as work together to create solutions that benefit all.
Impact on General Dentistry: Establishing dialogue with organizations like the NADP provides the AGD the opportunity to address some of its members’ most pressing concerns related to insurance. Furthermore, the potential long-term relationship is mutually beneficial and resourceful for both organizations.
