In a recent column published by Dentistry Today, Larry Williams, DDS, MPH,MAGD, ABGD, a member and national spokesperson for the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), notes that the dental community has been doing an exceptional job to prevent staff and patients from contracting the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Dr. Williams explains that by employing consistent infection control standards, the dental community is a step ahead in taking protective measures against the virus that the World Health Organization (WHO) has now considered to be a global epidemic. He suggests that all dentists become familiar and continue to follow the protective standards recommended by the Center for Disease Control. Read more.
