Michael A. Gordon, DDS, MAGD
     Region 7

Michael A. Gordon, DDS, MAGD, received his DDS from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1989. He joined AGD in his senior year of dental school. He received his Fellowship in 1995 and his Mastership in 2002. He has been practicing general dentistry in Schererville for over 27 years. He became active in leadership after the Indiana AGD continuing education (CE) chair asked him to attend a board meeting and get more involved in 2002. 

He has held several leadership positions for the Indiana AGD, including treasurer, membership chair, vice president and president. He is currently serving as the regional director for Region 7, which is comprised of Indiana and Ohio, and is serving his third year. He is also active in the Indiana Dental Association, where he serves as a peer reviewer for the Northwest Indiana Dental Society. 

He is married to Pinki, his wife of over 25 years, and has two sons, one a sophomore in college and one a senior in high school. His hobbies include scuba diving and CE. He is also an active member at his church. His goals and motivation are to give back to the dental profession, especially the general dentist, and leave the future of dentistry in a better position than when he started.
