The Illinois AGD hosted the 26^th Annual Ted Weclew continuing education course on Feb. 20, 2019. Doug Lambert, DDS, presented, “Make Me Smile,” an excellent review of conservative composite restorations. In today’s competitive market, many patients are seeking to achieve an esthetically pleasing smile, but some may have limited resources. Composite resins may offer patients the most simple and cost-effective way to achieve an esthetic change.

Although composites are widely used within the dental community, their proper use is not always simple. This program offered conservative solutions based on clinical fundamentals, coupled with the integration of current technologies and materials, to yield simple, reproducible and efficient techniques for composite restorations. More than 70 registrants attended.
