Glenn B. Miller, DDS, FAGD
Regional Director, Region 19

Miller is the Regional Director of Region 19, which includes in the Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina AGDs.

Miller assists these constituencies with developing AGD Student Chapters at the five dental schools within the region. He also works with them on leader succession and recruitment of young leaders.

He graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1978 and joined AGD in 1982. Since graduation, he has practiced general dentistry in Asheville, North Carolina.

During his 35 years of AGD membership, Miller has served on NCAGD committees and the NCAGD Board of Directors and, eventually, as president of the NCAGD. At the national level, he has served on the AGD Dental Education Council.

He also became a dedicated president of other organizations, including the Buncombe County Dental Society and the First District of the North Carolina Dental Society (NCDS), and served on committees of the NCDS.

Miller’s advice to future leaders in dentistry is to be well informed on dental issues and be committed to the advancement of dentistry for the betterment of our patients.

In his spare time, he enjoys being with family, gardening, hiking, biking and fishing.
