Beginning September 2017, AGD Briefings, the constituent leader e-newsletter, will be changing its name to AGD Leader Insider.

The e-newsletter will still be sent on a monthly basis but will now feature regional and local constituent activities and programs to increase constituent engagement and readership. This change is in an effort to provide current and viable information and resources, as well as promote the sharing of best practices with all constituent leaders.

Keep the AGD leadership community in the loop! AGD Leader Insider is designed to promote and highlight local constituents, regional hot issues, current events, constituent tips, tools and other relevant resources to assist constituent leaders with their local activities, program and event efforts, as well as grow the leadership community overall!

CST would be happy to highlight your constituent in the next AGD Leader Insider. If your constituent or region has some exciting news, events or best practices — no event is too big or too small — please share your news with us! We are accepting article submissions related to the following topics:

Constituent Article Submissions

• Volunteer recognition awards ceremony
• Community outreach initiatives
• Leader development events (board retreats, mentoring, etc.)
• Recruitment events
• Retention events (social events, etc.)
• Advocacy
• Annual meetings and/or conferences

NOTE: All articles must be written as a recap of a recent past event. No more than two submissions can be accepted per constituent.

To save time, you may also submit related articles featured in your local constituent newsletters, press releases or even social media posts. Be sure to view our general guidelines and timeline for preparing and submitting AGD Leader Insider articles.

Don’t have any articles to share? No worries! Consider submitting your favorite leadership quote, a testimony about our constituent resources or a leader tip, which is any advice you would like to share with your fellow leaders about maximizing constituent activities.
