Description

The course introduces a precision preventive dentistry framework that moves beyond one-size-fits-all care by aligning preventive and caries-arresting strategies with individual patient risk. Through evidence-based discussion and hands-on application of materials such as silver diamine fluoride (SDF) and biomimetic remineralization agents, participants will learn how to select, apply and integrate preventive tools into daily practice to improve efficiency and clinical outcomes, and support sustainable practice revenue.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify patient-specific caries and periodontal risk factors to guide individualized preventive care.
  2. Differentiate indications and clinical use of preventive and caries-arresting materials, including SDF and biomimetic remineralization agents.
  3. Apply risk-based decision-making to select and perform appropriate preventive interventions.
  4. Integrate precision preventive strategies into daily workflows to improve efficiency, outcomes and practice sustainability.
