This two-part webinar explores neurotoxin use in dentistry for esthetic and therapeutic purposes, including temporomandibular disorders and bruxism, alongside dental photography techniques. Learn how capturing full-face and intraoral images supports treatment-planning, documentation, and evaluation of facial expressions like smiling and frowning — key to effective neurotoxin application.
Learning Objectives
- Identify location sites for neurotoxin injections for use in dentistry to suit both cosmetic and therapeutic needs.
- Consider contraindications, management of side effects and management of complications.
- Learn about the types of available neurotoxins in North America.
- Learn how to use clinical photography to support neurotoxin treatment-planning by documenting facial expressions (e.g., smiling, frowning, squinting) and oral structures from multiple angles for diagnostic, esthetic, legal and therapeutic purposes.
