Congratulations to Maribel Vann, DDS, for winning two round-trip airline tickets to attend AGD2021 in Austin. Vann has been an AGD member for just over a year and is excited to attend her first scientific session. We sat down virtually and asked her thoughts on why she joined AGD and on her winning the airline tickets:

I was dissatisfied with my local and state dental societies and decided to join AGD in December 2019. I am dedicated to expanding my clinical knowledge and providing excellent customer service and am so glad to have found an organization that shares all my same values. AGD has helped me stay on the cutting-edge of my industry by providing excellent continuing educational opportunities. I was also impressed with AGD’s timely response regarding COVID-19 and greatly appreciated the free webinars that were offered March to June. This truly is an organization that cares about its members. I’m very excited to have won the free airfare for two to AGD2021 in Austin. As a new member, this will be my first time attending a scientific session, and I am excited for the overall experience. I’m counting on attending CE sessions with world-class speakers, getting to meet like-minded dentists and exploring a dynamic city like Austin to make 2021 a year of great personal and professional development!
