Speaker Biography
Dr. Tawana Kieshawn Lee-Ware is currently an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Dentistry at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she received both a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and Master of Science in Dentistry. Dr. Lee-Ware obtained her dental degree from Meharry Medical College, where she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, before returning last summer to teach in Indiana. She is the immediate past President of the American Association of Women Dentists, and serves on the Board of Trustees at Agnes Scott College.Dr. Lee-Ware She has published 8 abstracts and been a featured speaker at various venues including the ADA Annual Meeting, the Chicago Midwinter Meeting, and the ADEA Annual Meeting.
