Everyone's Talking About AGD — Are You?
Vibrant organizations grow because members like you invite their colleagues to join. We appreciate everything you do to grow the organization, and we want to help you — and reward you — in that effort.
The Refer-a-Colleague Program, AGD’s member-get-a-member campaign, allows you to share the benefits of AGD membership with your nonmember peers. You can offer your colleagues the same great continuing education, practice management guidance, access to publications, networking and advocacy that help your practice grow and prosper.
And as AGD grows, your member benefits expand, and our collective voice becomes stronger.
Contribute to the AGD’s growth today by participating in the 2017 Refer-a-Colleague Program.
Short on time? Submit your nonmember colleagues’ names and contact information to us via the Online Referral Form or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will contact them with membership information on your behalf. When they join AGD, we’ll award you recruiter credit.
Here are some tools that you can use to get the ball rolling. Remember: It’s your AGD experiences and success stories that will resonate the most with nonmembers. Take a more personal, face-to-face approach to recruiting your colleagues using these resources:
Recognition and Rewards
Here’s how you’ll be rewarded for recruiting new members:
Refer a Colleague, Earn Rewards
The AGD Referral Rewards Program (part of the Refer-a-Colleague Program) thanks AGD members for inviting their colleagues to join the association.
Here’s how it works: When a colleague whom you refer joins AGD as an active member, you each get a $50 coupon that can be applied toward a future purchase with AGD. You can use it for an online webinar, registration and CE courses at the AGD Scientific Session and even your national dues renewal.
For new members, it’s a great way to explore everything AGD has to offer. And for recruiters, there’s no limit to how many coupons you can earn.
Of course, there are some restrictions. Read the FAQs to learn more about the program — and then get in on the rewards, start recruiting and start saving!
AGD2018 Grand Prize
All 2017 Refer-a-Colleague Program participants who sign up at least one qualifying new dentist member between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2017, will receive entry to this year’s grand-prize drawing for the chance to win a trip for you and your new member guest* to attend AGD2018 in New Orleans, June 6–8.
Receive one grand-prize drawing entry upon recruiting your first new dentist member, and earn additional drawing entries for each new dentist member you recruit thereafter.
*If the grand-prize drawing winner recruited more than one new member to AGD between Jan 1. and Dec. 31, 2017, we will randomly chose which new member will accompany the winner to AGD2018 as part of the 2017 Refer-a-Colleague Program's grand prize.
Track your progress toward recruiter recognition and the number of entries you’ve earned toward the AGD2018 grand-prize drawing using the Recruiter Leaderboard. The leaderboard is updated monthly to reflect the total number of qualifying new dentist members who were recruited by eligible participants since Jan. 1, 2017.
Sign up at least three qualifying new members during the 2017 Refer-a-Colleague Program, and earn additional recruiter recognition for each recruiter level you reach:
- Bronze recruiter (three to six new members)
- Silver recruiter (seven to 10 new members)
- Gold recruiter (11-plus new members)
The more nonmembers you recruit between now and Dec. 31, 2017, the more rewards you earn and the better your chances of winning the grand prize. So start recruiting today!
