Speaker Biography Dr. Samaras is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and has practiced Dentistry for over 26 years. He is a fellow of The American College of Dentists and The International College of Dentists. Dr Samaras also served as The Director of Practice Management at Tufts Dental for 9 years as well as an Associate Clinical Professor. Dr Samaras has authored over 100 articles for several established Dental publications and lectures nationally and internationally on Dental Technology, Practice Management, CAD/CAM Dentistry, and Advice for The New Dentist. He is a co-founder of 21st Century Practice Solutions and lives in Pinehurst, North Carolina with his wife and two daughters. The Fully Integrated 21st Century Digital Dental Practice This course is designed to discuss all the digital technology that not only enables but empowers every Dental Team member to "Practice Smarter Not harder" in providing clinical excellence and excellence of service. Why this technology improves patient care and how you can implement this technology without taking you out of your "comfort zone." Technology topics will include practice management software and hardware, digital radiography, Intra oral cameras, video patient education, the latest in caries detection, cancer screening, digital impression systems and CAD/CAM systems. The lecture will discuss how these technologies work, what they mean to the Doctor, Team member and most of all, to the patient. Also discussed will be the financial investment and the ROI. The lecture will be from 8:30 am to 4 pm with a 1 hour break for lunch, and is appropriate and encouraged for ALL Team members. | |||||||||||||||||||
