Speaker Biography Dr. Robert Convissar is a pioneer in the field of laser dentistry. One of the first dentists to use lasers in general practice, he has over 29 years of experience with CO2, Diode, Erbium, and Nd.YAG lasers. The author of over fifteen peer-reviewed papers on lasers, he has served as contributing editor of 6 laser dentistry textbooks. His 5th textbook, now in its second edition Principles and Practice of Laser Dentistry has been the number one selling laser dentistry textbook in the world for 8 years running. An internationally acclaimed lecturer from New York to London to Rome to Beijing, and everywhere in between, Dr. Convissar has delivered over 300 Laser Dentistry Certification courses worldwide. Dr. Convissar practices restorative and laser dentistry in New York City and serves as Director of Laser Dentistry at New York Presbyterian Hospital Queens. Honors awarded Dr. Convissar include Fellowship in the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, and Mastership in the Academy of Laser Dentistry. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
