Description

Led by former Internal Revenue Service (IRS) revenue agents, this session gives dental practice owners a clear understanding of how audits are selected, where practices commonly run into trouble, and what you can do to stay organized and prepared. Attendees will walk away with practical steps to strengthen documentation, improve financial oversight and run their practice with confidence.

Speaker Bio  

Daniel Nowakowski, CPA, MBA, is a licensed Illinois certified public accountant and co-founder of Nowakowski & Conner. He spent 15 years with the IRS as a revenue agent, lead revenue agent, and management and program analyst within the Small Business/Self-Employed Division, overseeing examination operations across 10 Midwestern states. He holds an MBA in financial fraud management from Saint Xavier University.


Ardella Conner, EA, MST, is an enrolled agent and co-founder of Nowakowski & Conner. She spent nine years with the IRS as a revenue agent, lead revenue agent and group manager. Prior to her time at the IRS, she worked at a Big Four accounting firm and gained corporate tax experience within Fortune 500 companies. She holds an MST from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
