Dr. Svoboda earned his PhD and DDS at the University of Toronto. He is a Fellow of the AGD, Honored Fellow of the AAID and Diplomate of the ABOI/ID. He has been placing and restoring dental implants for over 25 years and has spent the last 4 years investigating implant prosthesis installation techniques and their relationship to peri-implant disease. This has led to a better understanding of the current techniques and the development of new abutment and prosthesis designs, and processes that promise to reduce iatrogenic complications. His research on intra-oral cementation is pertinent to both dental implants and natural teeth.
