PARTICIPATION COURSE IN LASER DENTISTRY – AN AMERICAN BOARD OF LASER DENTISTRY CERTIFICATION COURSE
Candidates who successfully complete this course will receive a Certificate in Laser Dentistry recognized by the American Board of Laser Surgery, the only Medical Certifying Board in the world dedicated to Lasers and Light Energy in Medicine and Dentistry.
Has the excitement surrounding the introduction of lasers to dentistry been more smoke than substance? Since 1990, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved the use of TWELVE different wavelengths for dental use. These different wavelengths create a world of difference in how the lasers operate, and their usefulness in the oral cavity. The use of lasers for specific procedures found in everyday general practice will be highlighted.
16 hours of participation credit
for those who attend the 2 days of lecture and hands-on. 34 total hours of participation credit to those who attend the 2 days of lecture and hands-on, complete the assigned protocol in their office, and return to document the protocol assignment.
