Description
This two-part webinar explores neurotoxin use in dentistry for esthetic and therapeutic purposes, including temporomandibular disorders and bruxism, alongside dental photography techniques. Learn how capturing full-face and intraoral images supports treatment-planning, documentation, and evaluation of facial expressions like smiling and frowning — key to effective neurotoxin application.

Learning Objectives 
  1. Identify location sites for neurotoxin injections for use in dentistry to suit both cosmetic and therapeutic needs.
  2. Consider contraindications, management of side effects and management of complications.
  3. Learn about the types of available neurotoxins in North America.
  4. Learn how to use clinical photography to support neurotoxin treatment-planning by documenting facial expressions (e.g., smiling, frowning, squinting) and oral structures from multiple angles for diagnostic, esthetic, legal and therapeutic purposes.

Speaker Bios
David Goldshaw, DDMLBIST, BDT, graduated from the Eastman Dental Hospital in London, United Kingdom, with a degree in dentistry. He specializes in oral surgery and is an experienced educator working in research and development. He is also a former curator of a dental museum and has traveled most of the world lecturing on topics in dentistry. 

Tarek Chbat, MD, FRCPC, is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. He graduated from the University of Toronto’s anesthesia residency program in 2016. He received his facial esthetics training in Toronto and has been practicing for eight years.
