Dr. Sakai's practice is a full family practice offering services which include cosmetic restorations, bleaching, crowns or caps, bonding and veneers, bridges, dentures, root canals, and oral surgery. Dr. Sakai graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1982 and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

The office, which opened in 1989, is located in Crafton borough near the city of Pittsburgh. Dr. Sakai and his wife, Gale, have three children, and two grandchildren. They reside in Crafton and belong to St. Philips Church. Dr. Sakai is the school dentist for Crafton Elementary School and St. Philips School.

January 2006 the office was fully remodeled, with the addition of a Hygiene department run by Joni Timczyk RDH, and Rachel Magnuson RDH. Soft Tissue Management is an important treatment for Dental Health.
