Description
Office management often consumes the thinking of the practitioner: Who does what, when and how? Leadership is a different and vital skill that is needed for a practice to grow and sustain a special identity in the community. Positioning the dentist as a leader – and not just a manager – allows for a different, perhaps executive, kind of relationship with the practice and community. This webinar is devoted to what leaders do beyond management and how it impacts their reputation and identity with others.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the critical difference between a well-managed practice and a well-led practice.
- Assess the myths and realities of being a dentist leader.
- Discuss how your leadership is understood and felt by your team members and the difference it makes for them.
- Apply specific techniques that can begin your leadership journey.

"Because I have to travel far for work, having CE offerings that I can complete at my convenience is amazing. What’s even better is the free CE offerings cover the cost of my AGD membership."
