AGD Impact’s March Issue Soars with Member Stories of How AGD Elevates Dental Careers
The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) released its March 2025 issue of AGD Impact, featuring a cover story titled “Up, Up and Away: How AGD Elevates Your Dental Career.” This edition is dedicated to celebrating members, highlighting their journeys, and showcasing the myriad benefits of AGD membership.
In this special issue, members from various levels of their dental careers share their experiences and insights, illustrating how AGD has been instrumental in their professional growth. From access to cutting-edge continuing education to exceptional networking opportunities, the issue’s cover story features inspiring testimonials from four AGD members who share how AGD paved the way for their success.
“Our members’ experiences truly define the strength of AGD,” said Chethan Chetty, DDS, MAGD, AGD President. “From the moment I joined AGD, I recognized the unparalleled support and opportunities available. This issue of AGD Impact is a testament to ways AGD helps dentists grow and succeed.”
As the March issue of AGD Impact is a celebration of dentistry and the impact that AGD has made in the lives of so many dentists and dental students, it also gives a nod to National Dental Assistants Week with its article, “Is Your Practice a Great Place for Dental Assistants to Work?” Dental Assistants Week is observed this year from March 2 – 8, and this article, contributed by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), highlights tips on how dental practices can make dental assistants and their teams feel appreciated.
The March issue of AGD Impact is a testament to the organization’s mission of lifelong learning and professional excellence, reinforcing the value of AGD membership in shaping successful dental careers. This issue also features insightful columns on financial management and legal matters, along with the monthly Testing the Tools column, where Dr. Ross Isbell explores some of the industry's latest dental innovations.
