Working at the local level, AGD constituencies do tremendous work to advance AGD’s mission and vision. Their outstanding efforts were recognized during AGD’s annual meeting. This year’s winners are:

• Alabama AGD received the ACE Award in Category 2.
• Army AGD received the ACE Award and the Public Information Award for the Federal Services category.
• California AGD received the Richard Knowlton, DDS, Award for Continuing Education.
• Georgia AGD received the Membership Award for Category 1.
• Iowa AGD received the Public Information Award for Category 2.
• Massachusetts AGD received the Public Information Award for Category 2.
• Navy AGD received the ACE Award and the Membership Award in the Federal Services category.
• Nebraska AGD received the ACE Award; the Richard Knowlton, DDS, Award for Continuing Education; and the Public Information Award for Category 3.
• Rhode Island AGD received the Membership Award for Category 3.
• Tennessee AGD received the Richard Knowlton, DDS, Award for Continuing Education and the Membership Award for Category 2.
• Texas AGD received the Advocacy Award; the ACE Award; the Richard Knowlton, DDS, Award for Continuing Education; and the Public Information Award for Category 1.
• Veterans Administration AGD received the Membership Award for the Federal Services Category.

The AGD Constituency of the Year Award was created to acknowledge constituencies that display strength in every area of their organization, including governance and administration, continuing dental education, membership, communications, public information, legislation and dental care.

2022 Constituency of the Year Awards were presented to:

• Army AGD for the Federal Services category.
• Nebraska AGD for Category 3.
• Iowa AGD for Category 2.
• Texas AGD for Category 1.
