Dental burs are one of the most commonly used instruments within a dental practice, but little research has been done on effectively decontaminating diamond-coated burs. A recent study evaluated various methods for decontamination and sterilization. Does manual cleaning, a cleaning stone or ultrasonic cleaning yield the best results?
