Enhancing Pediatric Dentistry Skills and Increasing Access to Care
In a new General Dentistry study, dental professionals participated in a two-day training course focused on pediatric dentistry. Clinical knowledge was measured, and data on treatment patterns were collected pretraining and three months posttraining. The study found that training initiatives like this one may be an effective tool for modifying patterns of treatment, increasing access to care for children and maximizing the capacity of the safety net system.
