Dental health professionals have a responsibility to educate patients and the public about oral cancer. Join in the fight by volunteering to help with free oral cancer screenings of scientific session attendees and employees of Caesars Palace on Friday, July 17, at AGD2020 in Las Vegas.   

Sign up online for one or more of the available time slots between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. The AGD Foundation will provide fully equipped workstations for volunteers. 

In order to screen patients at AGD2020, dentists and hygienists must be licensed in the state of Nevada. Though the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners does not issue temporary licenses for out-of-state dentists and hygienists, the Nevada Department of Public and Behavioral Health may authorize voluntary healthcare services by out-of-state licensed dentists and hygienists. The AGD Foundation Oral Cancer Screening Event qualifies under this category. All dentist and hygienist volunteers — those licensed in Nevada and those licensed out-of-state — are required to submit to the AGD Foundation a copy of their practice license and proof of professional liability insurance no later than May 29, 2020.
