Laura Sharbash, DDS, FAGD, has clocked more than 1,000 CE hours. This investment in CE is her way of ensuring she gives her patients the most up-to-date treatment options. When she’s not working with patients, Sharbash stays busy by serving as the membership chair for the New Jersey AGD and completing the Harvard University Business School’s entrepreneur program. She is also a firm believer in giving back to help future dentists.

“After completing my residency at Morristown Medical Center, I took on a role as attending dentist, and I now supervise and teach resident dentists at the same general practice residency I attended,” she said. “I was also recently invited to sit on the admissions committee for the incoming 2020–21 residents.”

“Dr. Laura Sharbash is a young dentist who represents the ideals of a strong leader,” said Hyder. “She participated in the 2019 AGD Leadership Development Symposium and not only contributed great ideas at the conference, but also shared and initiated many wonderful ideas and goals back home in New Jersey.”

What’s next for Sharbash? Earning her AGD Mastership and continuing to mentor new dentists.

“I truly love what I do,” Sharbash said. “Helping patients look and feel better about themselves is simply a joy. If I can continue to enjoy practicing as much as I do now, then that is an accomplishment in itself.”
