Ohio legislators have moved HB 11 to the Senate after it was passed through the House in June. Among other things, the bill establishes a program to provide dental services to pregnant Medicaid recipients and providing these recipients with two dental cleanings per year. The program would be marketed among Medicaid recipients though given priority to those residing in areas of the state with high preterm birth rates.
