Help your members distinguish themselves from the competition.

In today’s competitive world, it’s more important than ever to set one’s self apart from the competition. Becoming an AGD Fellow (FAGD) or Master (MAGD) is a concrete way to show patients that you have gone above and beyond just basic continuing education.

Remind eligible members to apply for the Fellowship or Mastership award today. We’ve created a template you may use for reaching out to your members. Lists of members in your constituency eligible for the awards are available to you in the constituent area of the web site. For assistance with accessing these lists, please contact Karen Washington at karen.washington@agd.org.

Encourage members to continue their CE activities after earning the AGD Mastership Award. AGD Masters can apply for the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition (LLSR) and become a part of the 1% of dentists who stay active both in organized dentistry and their communities throughout their careers.

Don’t let time slip away. Before you know it, 2018 will be here. FAGD, MAGD, and LLSR applications must be submitted to AGD by Dec. 31, 2017, to be considered for the 2018 class. If approved, FAGD and MAGD candidates can receive their award on Saturday June 9, 2018 during the AGD Convocation ceremony at AGD2018 in New Orleans, LA.
