Making connections with your fellow general dentists can help you in your practice and with your own educational goals. We offer you opportunities to join with your colleagues on a local level through our AGD Constituent Chapters, providing members with additional benefits and services at the local level.

Our constituents provide continuing education, as well as networking and leadership opportunities, on a local level. AGD is composed of 62 organized constituents within 20 American and Canadian regions as well as other international members. Constituents are the state-, province-, territory-, or military-based divisions of the AGD, providing members with additional benefits and services at the local level.  View the AGD organizational chart.

We encourage you to get involved at the local level and work with your colleagues in your community by connecting with your local constituent today and find out more about leadership opportunities in your area.

Resources for Constituent Success

AGD Headquarters Services section offers many services to constituent leaders to help you succeed and support general dentistry in your community.

Constituent Resources

Whether you are a new or seasoned AGD constituent leader, this section contains valuable information to assist in all areas of constituent activity. Please note: Reports are only available to constituent leaders.

Constituent Leader Reports
AGD produces monthly and on-demand reports on local membership statistics. Please use this link to be redirected to these reports.

AGD Connect
Constituents can communicate quickly and efficiently using AGD Connect, the online community for AGD leaders and members. AGD Connect allows constituents and/or regions to virtually network with each other and create discussion posts to discuss issues affecting them at the local level. Some community groups are set up for specific constituent leaders,
including constituent presidents/executives, constituent editors and delegates. To access these community groups, visit AGD Connect.

Constituent Administrative Development Initiative (CADI) Application

AGD's Constituent Administrative Development (CADI) Program is a grant for constituents/regions with less than 800 (799 and below) members. The grant’s purpose is to support membership development and continuing education (CE) programming at the Constituent level.

The immediate goal of the CADI program is to bridge the funding gap that prevents acquisition of an administrative assistant on a part-time or full-time basis to provide administrative services to their respective constituent/region.
