Learn how to be “The Power of You”! Register to attend AGD’s FREE 2024 Leadership Development Symposium (LDS) on April 12-13 at the Swissotel Chicago Hotel in Chicago! The symposium, hosted by AGD's Regional Directors, is a day and one-half meeting jam-packed with our very own dynamic AGD speakers who will share leadership trends, tools, and resources for current and emerging AGD volunteer leaders.
The symposium offers a keynote speaker, up to three leadership topics, and networking opportunities per day in areas such as:
- Leadership Development and Engagement – David F. Halpern, DMD, FAGD/Bruce Burton, DMD, MAGD, ABGD
- Advocacy – Sheila M. Samaddar, DDS
- Continuing Education – George J. Schmidt, DMD, FAGD
- Membership Growth, Engagement and Retention – K. David Stillwell, DDS, MAGD
- Students, New Dentists and Residents Development and Engagement – Emily Bujnoski, DMD/Mai-Ly Duong, DMD, MAGD
- Meeting Development – Ms. Julie Berger
- Volunteer Leader Engagement – Ms. Francine Johannesen, CAE
Through intimate sessions and group discussions, you will understand the true meaning of leadership, identify your strengths and understand techniques to enhance your growth as “The Power of You”. In addition, attendees will also be awarded approximately 8.75 hours of CE in Self Improvement!
Space is limited to only about 80 attendees. Constituent leaders are encouraged to work with their regional directors to nominate two to three current newly appointed leaders, recent graduate dentists, student members, executives and potential leaders to attend.
