This Dental Diversity Month, we celebrate the dentists, hygienists, and dental professionals of all backgrounds who bring their unique perspectives and experiences to the operatory every single day. Representation matters — in the waiting room AND behind the drill. 🦷💙

• June 19: Today we honor the freedom, resilience, and enduring legacy of Black Americans. Juneteenth is a celebration, a reflection, and a call to action — a reminder that the work toward true equity is ongoing. In dentistry, that means continuing to fight for access to care in underserved communities, championing diversity in our schools and practices, and uplifting the Black dental professionals who have shaped and continue to shape this profession. 🖤❤️💚

• June 21: To all the dental dads out there — the ones who come home after a long day at the practice and still show up for the bedtime routine, the weekend games, and everything in between. You bring the same dedication to your families that you bring to your patients every day. That's no small thing. Happy Father's Day to the dads who are doing it all. 🦷❤️

• June 26: Shoutout to the unsung hero of oral health — the toothbrush. 🪥 As dentists, you've spent countless appointments preaching the gospel of twice-daily brushing, and today the whole world is finally on your side. Use this day to remind your patients: two minutes, twice a day, every day. It's the simplest prescription you'll ever write. 😄

Customizing Your Templates with Canva

To customize the templates above with your constituent logo, consider using Canva. With easy-to-use tools, and wide a range of templates, Canva is a free and easy to use website and app where you can create professional designs for your constituency.

Adding your logo with Canva:

Step 1: on your Canva dashboard, click Instagram post.

Step 2: Click "Uploads" on the left side of the screen.

Step 3: Drag and drop one of the saved images above to the left side of the screen or click upload and find the file you  would like to upload

Step 4: After it's fully uploaded click the image you'd like to use. It should now appear on the screen to the right.

Step 5: Drag the corners of the image to resize to fit the Instagram template

Step 6: Upload your constituency logo the same as step 3.

Step 7: place your logo in the top right corner of the image like the image shown below.

Step 8: Save your file and upload it to your social accounts!
