Speaker Biography
Dr. Goth Siu who is a Fellow of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada and is a Board Certified Specialist in Prosthodontics. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. He is one of very few dual boarded Prosthodontists in both Canada and the US. Dr. Siu maintains a private practice in Yorkville, Toronto and is also a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Siu received his Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from McMaster University, completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and completed a 3 year specialty program in Advanced Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he received extensive training in both the surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant treatment, computer-guided surgery, and conventional crown and bridge procedures. His area of research is in dental implants and restorations in the esthetic zone and his goal is to identify how patients see dental esthetics differently than dentists
